  Introduction Class          

 

Introduction to Track Cycling Classes are a series of four classes run consecutively, once a week.  This is an introductory course in riding and training on the ADT Event Center Velodrome (ADTEC).  The objective is to instill in riders safe riding skills, etiquette, and regulations. These will be enjoyable and engaging sessions showing people how to have more fun on the track. Graduates this class will be certified to participate in programs offered at the ADTEC.  Riders who are already certified are encouraged to attend this extended practice as well, to refine their track skills, and learn (or re-learn) tips and tricks that will improve their riding and fun.

 

Fee:  $225

This class meets four times, class 1 is a prerequisite for class 2, etcetera:

  • Intro Class 1

  • Intro Class 2

  • Intro Class 3

  • Intro Class 4

Requirements:  Helmet, riding uniform, cycling shoes, gloves.  Pedals preferred.

Intro Class Discount - Those riders requiring equipment will only be charged a one-time rental fee.

ADT Event Center Club
Everyone signing the Home Depot Center release in 2007 will automatically become members of the ADT Event Center club. Members have neither expressed nor assumed rights nor privileges related to the club and the facility. However, members [all track users] are responsible for checking in before any ride on the track. Members are also responsible for following all of the facility's rules and policies.

Safety Recommendations
The ADT Event Center takes safety as its primary concern. Helmets and bikes must adhere to USA Cycling standards. We recommend tightened, well-adjusted components and properly secured tires.

All classes are taught by Certified Expert USA Cycling Coaches.
