Where: ADT Event Center
Velodrome at the Home Depot Center (HDC) in Carson, CA. Enter Home Depot
Center from University Ave, Entrance. See
Location for driving directions. Free limited parking in ADT Event
Center lot. Additional parking is available in remote HDC lots.
PARKING IN CSUDH LOTS REQUIRES AN ADDITIONAL PARKING FEE.
When: Saturday May 20th, 2006. Racing starts at 3 pm.
The track will be open for warm-up immediately after the ADT Velodrome
certification session.
Who: Racers who are eligible
to race at the ADT Event Center Velodrome. To be eligible for mass
start races at the ADT Event Center Velodrome you must be a Category 1
or 2 or already hold an ADT Velodrome Certification. Velodrome Staff
must certify all other racers the day of the race.
A FREE accelerated
accreditation class will be offered prior to racing the day of the
event. YOU MUST BE CERTIFIED IN ORDER TO RACE MASS START RACES
NO
EXCEPTIONS.
Categories: 1/2/3; 4/5; Masters 45+; Women A*, Women B* and Juniors.
USA Cycling license required. No one-day license will
be issued..
Junior race gears will be enforced.
* Women's A and B will race together if less than 4 per
category.
Entries: $10 + track fee for Senior, Masters and Women and juniors
$5 + track fee. The Track fee for a single session is $20, The LA
Velodrome offers a 10-session card for $160. Contact Roger Young at
ADTeventcenter@aol.com regarding discounts on track fee(s). Race fees
will be waived for junior racers whose parents volunteer at 3 or more
races.
Registration: Opens an hour and half before the first race near the
south end of the ADT Event Center Velodrome.
Other Information: Racers must enter the Velodrome from the south
entrance. Please drop off equipment at the south entrance, then park and
return to enter the Velodrome. Please do not cross the track surface
unless directed to do so. Race dates may need to be rescheduled due to
facility requirements.
Prize List: Prize lists for other sessions will be announced
pending sponsor signup. Prize money will only be
available the day of race - No other arrangements
will be made.
