New for November:
November 11th is “Bring a Friend Day”. On
Saturday November 11th, we want to share the Thanksgiving
Holiday Cheer with you and your friends at the ADT track. Anyone who
brings a new guest (ladies only, please!) to the track for the
Certification Class will receive a special Holiday Gift.
For those ladies who returning to the ADT Track
and have already been certified, the November Session will be a
structured workout designed to help us to build on what we have
already learned. We will plan to be on the bikes and ready to ride
at 12:00 sharp. We will begin with a 12-15 minute group warm
up before moving into the structured workout portion of the session.
Throughout the session, we will focus on specific skills such as
pace line and pedaling techniques as we learn how to move safely
around the track.
For those ladies who are new to the ADT Track,
the session will begin with the Certification Class located on the
upper level of the building. This class is taught by Roger Young and
is designed to teach new track riders the basic skills needed to get
you started on the track. This class will last approximately one
hour after which you will join the rest of the ladies who are
already on the track.
The Staff at ADT is passionate about sharing
track cycling with each of you!
New for December
December 9th is “Dream
Team Day”. As with all the Ladies Only Sessions, everyone is always
invited and encouraged to attend whether or not you belong to a
cycling club or team. However on December 9th we want to
celebrate our local bike clubs by encouraging them to bring as many
teammates (ladies only, please!) as possible to the Ladies Only
track session. The club with the most Ladies in attendance in will
win a Santa Sized Grand Prize. For those ladies who are currently
‘unattached’ you will be an honorary member for the day of “Team
Misfits”. What’s the matter with misfits? That’s where we fit in!
You will all want to be sure to attend this session…the winning
team prize will be delicious!
For those ladies who are already certified to
ride the ADT Track, the December Session will be a structured
workout designed to allow us to build on what we have already
learned. We will be on the bikes and ready to ride at 12:00 sharp.
We will begin with a group warm up before moving into an interval
workout. Throughout the session, we will focus on specific skills

Happy New Year!!
I hope that your list of New Year Resolutions
begins with some new cycling goals?
January 13th is our 4th
and final Ladies Only Session for this year. Whether you have only
one item or 20 items on your list of New Year Resolutions for 2007
you may consider making room on that list for track cycling. If your
resolutions are about fun, fitness and family, then please join us
on January 13th as we celebrate the New Year in style
together on the track! New Year Resolutions are all about
accountability so make sure you bring your training partner or a
good friend to this session. We have some great prizes to give
away!
Everyone who has attended all 4 Ladies Only
Track Sessions will receive a special gift that is guaranteed to
inspire you. Also, everyone who brings a new guest for the
certification class will also be rewarded in style.

skills that will be very helpful to you as the road and track racing
seasons begin. We will discuss the various types of track racing
events that are available to women in both the Elite and Master’s
racing scene. We will also discuss how the sport of track cycling is
changing and what you should expect to see in the near future both
locally and globally.
